Battling Beckett

A Contemporary Sports Romance

Hell Disguised as Heaven…

Greer’s circumstances radically change her senior year in high school. Moving from an apartment to a multimillion-dollar mansion should be an easy transition, but her soon to be step-brother makes it hell on earth.

Beckett is a football god and arrogant jerk. He makes it clear that Greer is not welcome in his home or his elite private school. And yet, she finds the battle with herself more confusing than the one with Beckett. Why is she drawn to him? Why does she see the good in him?

Even with all of the confusing and unexpected obstacles, Greer is determined to find a way to thrive and survive.

This book features an alpha hero and an introverted heroine in a high school setting, but it is meant for mature readers.

Book Quotes

Don’t talk to me and don’t tell anyone you know me.” Beckett Dawson’s cold demand scraped along her skin.

The edge in his voice and the set of his jaw should have warned her to leave the subject alone. Instead, she settled her hands on her hips and braced her feet apart...

“Why? Why do you care that I’m drunk? And why are you pretending you care about what happened tonight?” Beckett looked down at Greer’s mutinous expression and asked himself why he cared.

Beckett tightened his jaw. He laid his spoon down by the bowl, and Greer’s heart took off. She cranked her head up as Beckett straightened from his chair and steadily walked to her at the counter. She swallowed and tried her best not to look like a deer caught in headlights.
